We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as an Institutional Sales Manager at a leading asset management company in Chennai. The role demands an experienced individual with a proven track record in sales, relationship management, and business development in the financial services industry.
Need people from: Banking, Broking or Asset Management Companies only
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive institutional sales by identifying, developing, and managing relationships with key clients such as banks, insurance companies, corporate treasuries, and other institutional investors.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
- Present the company’s portfolio of investment products, including mutual funds, alternative investment funds, and portfolio management services, tailored to meet client objectives.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to provide insights and advisory to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and client satisfaction.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and updates for senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- MBA/CA/CFA or equivalent qualification.
- 5+ years of experience in institutional sales, preferably in asset management.
- Strong understanding of financial products and markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A client-centric approach with the ability to manage and nurture long-term relationships.
