Organisation

India Animal Fund (IAF) is a backbone organisation that matches funders with credible & capable implementation partners and helps deliver impact at scale for the most pressing animal welfare issues. 


Role:

Responsible for forging new funding partnerships, the Head of Fundraising will play a pivotal role in growing the scope and scale of Animal welfare projects supported by IAF. 


Responsibilities:

·       Research to identify target donors (Corporates, HNIs, Foundations)

·       Research to identify relevant events to attend.

·       Attend relevant events and speak / present the IAF storyline wherever possible

·       Drive Donor leads through the funnel and push for closure meetings with CEO / Founder

·       Maintain activity details on CRM tracker

·       Work with CEO on upgrade strategy (companion animals to farm animals)

·       Work with Operations Manager to ensure all donors are tracked, documentation is vetted, and periodic, customized updates are sent to all donors


Desired profile:

·       Has 7-10 years of experience in fundraising for CSR

·       Has excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

·       Is highly organised/structured, meticulous, and dependable.

·       Is passionate about animal welfare issues and has a good understanding of veganism.

·       Is proficient in leveraging various tools for research.

·       Has the ability to work independently and build long term trusted relationships with donors and potential donors.
