Job Description


Role:

This position will be responsible for achieving the Agency Sales Objectives planned for the year in the given geography/region. The role-holder will be the owner of the recruitment, training and developing a strong Agency force consisting of FAs and Front Line managers in the defined geography. RM would be managing a region, with a team span of approximately 100-125 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of branch managers to ensure effective performance and professional growth.
    • Develop and implement regional strategies to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to branch managers.

  • Operational Oversight:

    • Monitor and evaluate branch performance metrics, including sales, client acquisition, and operational efficiency.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across all branches.
    • Identify and address operational challenges and implement solutions to improve branch performance.

  • Business Development:

    • Develop and execute strategies to expand market presence and increase revenue within the region.
    • Foster and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive business opportunities.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Financial Management:

    • Oversee regional budget and financial performance, including forecasting and cost management.
    • Ensure branches meet their financial targets and manage resources effectively.

  • Reporting & Communication:

    • Prepare and present regular reports on regional performance to senior management.
    • Communicate effectively with branch managers and staff to ensure alignment with company goals and initiatives.

  • Training & Development:

    • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs for branch staff to enhance skills and performance.
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.


  



Requirements
  • Required Qualifications and Skills:

    • Any Graduate or Post Graduate with Insurance Industry experience.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Very good people management and team building skills.
    • High on analytical skills, problem solving and demonstrated enthusiasm.
