Job Description: As a PurchaseExecutive at Laxmi Electronics you will play a vital role inmanaging the procurement process and ensuring the smooth flow ofmaterials required for production. You will be responsible forcoordinating with suppliers negotiating contracts and maintainingaccurate records of purchases. The ideal candidate should have abasic understanding of purchase and supply chain managementprinciples excellent communication skills and proficiency invarious office softwareapplications.



Requirements

Responsibilities:

  1. Sourceevaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best qualityproducts at the most competitiveprices.
  2. Coordinate with internalstakeholders to understand their procurement needs andrequirements.
  3. Maintain and updatethe vendor database including supplier information prices and leadtimes.
  4. Process purchase orders andensure timely delivery of materials to meet productionschedules.
  5. Monitor inventory levelsand identify opportunities to optimize stock levels and reducecosts.
  6. Collaborate with the financedepartment to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices andpayments.
  7. Conduct market researchand stay updated on industry trends and supplierdevelopments.
  8. Resolve any issues ordiscrepancies with suppliers regarding quality quantity or deliveryof goods.
  9. Prepare reports andpresentations on purchasing activities and performancemetrics.
  10. Assist in the developmentand implementation of procurement policies and procedures toimprove efficiency andcompliance.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelorsdegree in business administration supply chain management or arelated field.
  2. Basic knowledge ofpurchase and supply chain managementprinciples.
  3. Excellent communicationskills in English Kannada and Hindi languages both verbal andwritten.
  4. Proficiency in using officesoftware applications such as MS Excel MS Word andPowerPoint.
  5. Familiarity with emailcommunication and scheduling using Outlook or similarplatforms.
  6. Strong negotiation andinterpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintainrelationships withsuppliers.
  7. Detailoriented with goodanalytical and problemsolvingabilities.
  8. Ability to workindependently and prioritize tasks in a fastpacedenvironment.
  9. Previous experience inprocurement or purchasing roles will be anadvantage.
  10. Willingness to learn andadapt to new processes andtechnologies.
