Your day at NTT DATA
NTT DATA Inc-Microsoft Business – Global Competency lead is a pivotal role that entails ownership of the delivery model for MSFT competencies and capacity management within the practices, mapping of Microsoft-related competencies and identification of skills development priorities and needs and development of skill gaps closure plans.This role is responsible for NTT DATA Inc keeping and acquiring Microsoft Specializations by implementing cutting-edge learning methodologies, measuring program outcomes, and ensuring delivery readiness.
What you'll be doing
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and owning the delivery model for Microsoft competencies and capacity management, working with global practices and regions Responsible for the development of a holistic Microsoft skills mapping, training and certification across all of delivery globally, including all practices like Migration and Modernization, Managed Services, etc. (This also includes training and certification of regional and Service Unit personnel). Responsible for NTT DATA Inc keeping and acquiring Microsoft Specializations across the organization. Collaborate closely with executive leadership, department heads, and HR to understand Microsoft training needs and be the linking pin with the global L&D team to achieve these results Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps, learning requirements, and performance improvement opportunities. Develop and implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of Microsoft learning programs, continuously improving learning outcomes and results. Advise on the use data analytics to derive insights, measure the impact of training, and make informed decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate Microsoft learning plans and objectives, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders. Responsible for programs to keep our ProCert resources with NTT through retention programs Responsible for staying updated with Microsoft trends and developments, and to drive innovation and best practices. Develop learning strategies that address the needs of a diverse, globally dispersed workforce. Provide Support to capacity management across the practices and locally Responsible for managing the Professional Services delivery to Microsoft globally, when applicableKnowledge, Skills and Attributes:
Excellent understanding of Microsoft learning, training and certifications. Excellent understanding of how to identify skill gaps and training needs within an organisation. Excellent understanding of learning management systems (LMS), e-learning tools, and other training technologies. Excellent understanding of data analysis for measuring training effectiveness and making informed decisions. Knowledge of project management principles to plan, execute, and evaluate Microsoft training initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with various departments and levels of management. Data Analysis and Reporting: Skill in analysing training data and generating reports to inform decisions and improvements. Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to address challenges during training and adapt strategies based on feedback. Strategic Thinker: A strategic mindset to align Microsoft training initiatives with business objectives and long-term goals. Collaborative: Willingness to work with cross-functional teams to design and implement holistic Microsoft training solutions. Results-Oriented: A focus on achieving measurable outcomes in terms of employee skill development and organisational impact. Effective Communicator: Strong communication skills for conveying complex information and fostering understanding.Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
Relevant Bachelor’s degree software, business or learning and development preferred Microsoft certifications desiredRequired Experience:
Experience in conducting needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the organisation. Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments and levels of management to understand training needs and ensure alignment with organisational goals. Extended understanding of learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and other training technologies. Extensive experience in using data to evaluate Microsoft training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions to improve training outcomes. Extensive ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to maximise performance and results. Willingness to continuously update requirements based on feedback, Microsoft trends, and changing business needs.Workplace type:
