THE ROLE: Presales Associate Architect
Key Responsibilities :
In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of Cloud and Cloud Native Strategies. As a key member of the sales cycle, ensure success in building, modernizing and migrating applications, software and services on Cloud platforms. Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of Cloud and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure client strategies and solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already operating in Cloud. Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solutions architect community. Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals and key stakeholders within customer organizations to enable them to be cloud advocates. Act as a technical liaison between customers, sales, service engineering teams, and partners.Required Skills:
Experience designing, operating, or building AWS or Microsoft Azure Services and Solutions (other cloud providers are a plus) Working knowledge of modern and cloud-native software development tools, frameworks, data services, and methodologies Experience architecting and operating cloud-based custom applications and integration solutions in complex enterprise or consumer-focused environments Experience in presales or consulting working with large and complex customer environments Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers Demonstrated thought leadership through publications and public speaking Excellent communication skills with an ability to align conversations to the audience Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud Familiarity with Agile Frameworks (Scaled Agile, Kanban, Scrum), rd Party products (, Boomi, MuleSoft, Oracle, SAP), and architecture and service frameworks (ITIL, Zachman, TOGAF, etc.)Additional Desired Skills:
Cloud engineering, DevOps, and automation experience Industry-specific experience (healthcare, financial, manufacturing, SLED, or media and entertainment) Cloud Vendor Professional Certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Architect) Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience + years of systems engineering, software development, or application architecture experience + years delivering consulting, pre-sales, or advisory servicesShift time / Work location:
