We are seeking an experienced, driven Associate Sales Director to help steer our sales efforts and drive growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious targets.


Job Description:

This role requires extensive experience in sales leadership, strategic planning, and business development. The Sales Director will lead the sales strategy, manage key accounts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business objectives are met.


Responsibilities:

- Report directly to the VP of Sales.

- Independently manage and grow client accounts.

- Stay on top of market trends and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

- Implement sales strategies to sustain current business and drive growth, ensuring customer requirements align with organizational capabilities.

- Establish and maintain relationships with key influencers, stakeholders, and decision-makers within client organizations.

- Regularly present detailed organizational charts and account strategies for accounts with annual revenues exceeding $100K to leadership teams, including the VP of Sales, CRO, and CEO.

- Collaborate closely with Business Unit Heads and sales leadership to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and customer acquisition plans.

- Partner with business units to create impactful product and solution materials for various markets and ensure timely delivery to the sales team.

- Regularly review customer activities with the VP of Sales, including negotiation, scope of work, and strategy alignment.

- Prepare customer visit reports and sales feedback for senior leadership.

- Work with the Sales Operations team to support account management and operational needs.

- Manage CRM activities, including maintaining contact information, deal status, and pipeline forecasting.

- Conduct periodic business review meetings with key accounts and manage customer expectations.


Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering; MBA preferred.

- 5 to10 years of software sales experience, with expertise in AI/ML, video, embedded systems, sensor engineering, or AI/ML solutions in enterprise settings.

- Experience in industries like Semiconductor, Automotive, Industrial Automation, or Media.

- Proven track record of closing deals with order values exceeding $500K.

- International sales experience, particularly in the US, Europe, and APAC regions.

- Ability to manage large, complex organizations with multimillion-dollar revenue opportunities across multiple geographies.

- Strong organizational, strategic planning, communication, and negotiation skills.


Key Performance Indicators:

- Achieve or exceed annual booking targets.

- Drive year-over-year growth in self-managed accounts.

- Build and maintain organizational charts for key decision-makers within accounts generating $100K+ in revenue.

- Expand reach within customer organizations across internal business units, marketing, and R&D teams.
