OverviewThe HumanResource Intern plays a crucial role in supporting HR operationsand contributing to the overall success of the HR department. Thisrole provides valuable learning opportunities in various aspects ofHR functions and helps in developing essential skills inrecruitment employee relations and HRadministration.KeyResponsibilities
  • Assist inrecruitment processes such as job postings scheduling interviewsand conducting reference checks
  • Support theimplementation and communication of HR policies andprocedures
  • Conduct initial screenings ofpotential candidates and maintain candidatedatabase
  • Participate in employee onboarding andorientation programs
  • Assist in organizing HRevents and training programs
  • Update andmaintain employee records and HRdatabases
  • Support in administering employeebenefit programs
  • Participate in developing andupdating HR documents such as job descriptions and employeehandbooks
  • Assist in handling employee queriesregarding company policies andbenefits
  • Contribute to creating a positive workenvironment and employee relations
  • Participatein HR projects and initiatives asassigned
  • Provide support in HR reporting anddata analysis
  • Handle administrative tasksrelated to HR including filing scanning anddocumentation
  • Engage in HR research and bestpractice benchmarking
  • Follow up with employeeson HRrelated matters asdirected
RequiredQualifications
  • Currently pursuing orrecently completed a degree in Human Resources BusinessAdministration or related field
  • Understandingof HR principles and practices through coursework or previousexperience
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing acareer in Human Resources
  • Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills
  • Stronginterpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively withina team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suiteparticularly Excel Word and PowerPoint
  • Abilityto handle sensitive and confidential information withdiscretion
  • Detailoriented and organized withexcellent time management skills
  • Basicknowledge of employment laws and regulations is aplus
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasksin a fastpaced environment
  • Proactive and eagerto learn with a positive attitude
  • Flexibilityand adaptability to work on various HRassignments
  • Previous internship or workexperience in an HR or administrative role isdesirable
  • Knowledge of HR software or databasesis an advantage
