Position: UX Designer 3 Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months Job Type: Contract Work Type: Remote Job Description: Work in an agile environmentcoordinating with people across products and across disciplinesbalancing business objectives enduser goals and technicalrequirements to create worldclass experiences. Ability to graspbigpicture concepts and fundamental requirements dive into thedetails to create user interfaces for interactive products throughwireframes highfidelity visual designs and prototype solutions.Validate designs in an iterative fashion coordinating with the teamto organize usability tests to ensure the design works for ourusers. Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to iterate andrefine according to user feedback while holding a high bar forsuccess and users basic expectations. Visual designskills and/or user research will come in handy to ensure designsare well received by endusers. Soft skills required to work withdevelopment teams advocate for the needs of the user buildconsensus and clearly document the desired solution. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define productdirection visuals and experience
  • Ceate usercentered designs as directed byProduct Owner.
  • Develop usercentric design for mobile and web platformsfocusing on responsive design and seamless user experiences.
  • Design the UIarchitecture interface and interaction flow of services andexperiences.
  • Createprototypes and wireframes for complex web and mobile applicationsand workflows
  • Workclosely with the development team to integrate new technologies andframeworks that enhance the products functionality and userexperience
  • Fluent inbest practices in web development testing and maintainability.
Skills
  • Proven experience asuser experience designer or interaction designer for webapplications and mobile applications preferably for connectedproducts (Internet of Things or IoT solutions)
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML5 CSS3JavaScript and experience with modern frameworks/libraries such asReact Angular Vue.js.
  • Experience in evaluating and incorporating comprehensivetools and web development libraries such as Kendo UI to streamlinedevelopment (preferred not required).
  • Experience with wireframe and prototypingwith tools such as Sketch Figma Adobe Axure Framer or similar
  • An online portfoliodemonstrating samples of design deliverables (personas journey mapswireframes graphics and prototypes)
  • High quality organizational and leadershipskills
  • Outstandingcommunication and presentation abilities
Experience
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in designhumancomputer interaction (HCI) or equivalent degree
  • 5 years experience as a UI/UXDeveloper
