Job Description Justification: The EndClient has been tasked with recruiting aSpecialist 2 Security Analyst. Review firewall system security and vulnerabilitydesign. Determine security requirements byevaluating business strategies and businessrequirements. Analyze appropriate securityassurance levels. Evaluate security policy andnextgeneration threats. Analyze and recommendprevention designs SSL encryption/decryption strategiesvulnerability protection profiles content filtering and perimetersecurity controls. Analyze potential impact ofnew threats and exploits develop and implement expert firewallsolutions to mitigate those threats. Analyzerisks to critical applications and recommend securitycontrols. Communicate risks to relevantbusiness units. SCOPE OFSERVICES Security Analyst:
  • Review firewall system security and vulnerabilitydesign.

MANDATORYSKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Note: Candidates who do not have themandatory skills will not be considered
  • At least 8 years ofexperience with Intrusion Prevention Systems and Tools.
  • Extensive experience performing Cyber and TechnicalThreat Analyses.
  • Familiarity with SecurityRegulations and Standards.
  • Monitoring andresponding to malicious activity and performing cybersecurityinvestigations
  • Perform technical and forensicinvestigations. Create a playbook for security events. Analyzesystem services operating systems networks and applications toaddress possible cyberattacks.
  • Automateprocesses leveraging scripts (Python batch etc.) Run reports togather data from SQL databases (SQL).
  • Creationof SIEM dashboards to help visualize data and events. Respond andresolve basic operational technical Incidents andRequests
