Area Sales Manager

We are looking to hire Area Sales Manager in Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ghaziabad & Gorakhpur), New Delhi (NCR), Bihar (Patna, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur & Gaya), Odisha(Bhubaneshwar, Cuttak & Rourkela), Chhattisgarh (Raipur, Raigarh, Bhilai, Bilaspur & Jagdalpur) to expand the team in sales and business development.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will lead and manage sales activities within your designated geographic area. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and expanding market share. This position requires a self-motivated individual with excellent leadership communication, and strategic planning skills.
The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets objectives within the assigned area.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the retailers wholesaler base increase market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide sales training, coaching, and support to the sales team to enhance their performance and productivity.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to management, outlining sales performance and growth opportunities.
- Travel within the assigned area to meet with customers, attend industry events, and conduct sales meetings as needed.
Qualification:
- Good command over regional language
- Graduates and Under graduates with a proven track record of success in sales management with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
