- Negotiate and finalize contractsensuring compliance with government regulations andrequirements.
- Provide regular sales forecastingreporting and analysis for government salesactivities.
- Stay updated on government policiesregulations and trends that may impact salesstrategies.
- Participate in industry eventstrade shows and conferences to promote governmentsales.
- Manage and mentor a team of governmentsales professionals to drive performance and achieveobjectives.
- Collaborate with other departmentssuch as legal finance and operations to ensure smooth execution ofgovernment contracts.
- Monitor competitoractivities and government market trends to identify potential risksand opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvementin government sales processes andprocedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevantlaws regulations and internalpolicies.
- Bachelors degree inBusiness Administration Marketing or a relatedfield.
- Proven track record of success ingovernment sales with a minimum of 4years of experience.
- Deep understanding ofgovernment procurement processes andregulations.
- Excellent communication andpresentation skills with the ability to engage and influencegovernment decisionmakers.
- Strong negotiationskills and experience in managing complex governmentcontracts.
- Strategic thinker with the abilityto develop and implement effective salesplans.
- Ability to work collaboratively in acrossfunctional team environment.
- Demonstratedleadership experience in managing and coaching salesteams.
- High level of integrity and ethicalstandards in conducting government salesactivities.
- Ability to travel as needed to meetwith government clients and attend relevantevents.
- Strong problemsolving anddecisionmaking abilities in a dynamic salesenvironment.
- Indepth knowledge of public sectortrends and market dynamics.
- Masters degree in arelevant field or equivalent experience is aplus.
- Certification in government contractingor sales isdesirable.
