JobPurpose: To provide overallInformation Services Technology infrastructure support and ServiceLevel Management support in the areas ofEnterprise DatabaseServices. Also to support Business Unitcustomers critical business process requirements manages staffapplications development integration and support and the computertechnology used in various organizations throughout extendedenterprise. Additionally will also be responsible for continuousimprovement of the services and the operational processinteractions between our internal IT organizations and thevendors/partners.JobDuties:

  • Reporting to the incumbent are internaland
  • contracted resources that may include anyor all the following: Senior IT
  • Analysts ITAnalysts (various levels of experience) AssociateIT
  • Analysts and other technical or customerliaison personnel at various
  • levels.

  • This role also ensures standard workis
  • defined monitored and supported to ensurethe scope of services achieve
  • and maintaincompliance to internal policies and procedures includingthose
  • relating to sustainability cybersecuritySOX and IT GeneralControls

  • This position directs the work effortsof
  • professional and technical employees andcontracted resources that provide
  • consultingservices; and define design develop implement andmaintain
  • different applications. Also whileensure consistent service levels from
  • managedservices partners is also required to have a soundunderstanding
  • of ITSM processes. The incumbentprovides guidance and results review to
  • ensurecustomer quality needs aremet.

  • The incumbent makes efficient use ofavailable
  • information technology and must beaware of technology trends to develop
  • compatible systems. Utilizes group standards practices andprocesses;
  • establishes manages and reportsadherence to schedules and may
  • contribute toresolution of complex problems and systems challengesthat
  • involve careful interpretation analysisand diagnosis.

  • Anticipates potential systemsdifficulties
  • related to complex problemsidentifies alternatives from many choices
  • andrecommends the best solutions. Considers interrelationships ofthe
  • functional areas involved assures timelycommunications among related
  • areas to supportthe creation of effective reliable systems tomeet
  • changing business needs of multiplecustomers and corporaterequirements.

  • The incumbent reviews standard coursesof
  • action and recommends the best options. Thejob requires the ability to
  • create and makeclear and useful presentations based on ideas issuesand
  • observations and also should providecommunications to staff helps manage
  • thetechnical training and development of staff assists incareer
  • development planning includingresponsibility for the motivation of staff
  • tomeet objectives formal performance evaluation of staff andis
  • accountable for accomplishment of groupobjectives.

  • The incumbent contributes to theimprovement
  • in system efficiency costs andquality and works closely with IS
  • managementBusiness Managers Division Managers and customer managementin
  • selecting projects and keeping theminformed of progress and major
  • problems. Worksclosely with the systems architects to explore
  • alternatives and contributes to systemevolution.

  • Provides input to staffing decisionscounsels
  • staff and may serve on specialprojects and committees. Participates in
  • theobjective setting and business planning process and assists withcost
  • containment and improvement efficient useof resources and customer
  • satisfaction. Theincumbent develops wellprepared action plans forthe
  • current year and has a clear sense of whatneeds to be achieved in the
  • year to come.Limited travel may be required to make presentationsand
  • assure satisfactory operation of installedsystems. The incumbent assumes
  • the role ofProject Sponsor for one or more 6 Sigmaprojects.

Background/Experience:

  • This position requires arelevant
  • degree and/or 1215 years ofprogressively complexexperiences.

  • Requires around 5 years ofprior
  • people and technical managerialexperience in applications or
  • infrastructureareas. In addition to that a broad background insystem
  • software support developmentmethodologies business planning and
  • projectmanagement expertise isdesired.

  • Extensive knowledge in managingcomplex
  • infrastructure projects related toDatabase deployment and operations is
  • necessary.

  • Previous experience inPublic
  • Cloud Service Management and supportinglarge cloud service technologies
  • is necessary(Microsoft Azure AWS orsimilar)

  • Prior experience inmanaging
  • large Database Teams withskillsets/technologies
  • likeSnowflake Oracle SQL Server DB2 MySQL andTeradata.

  • Should have good experiencein
  • Service Level Management (ITSM) for new andchanged services define the
  • services KPIs andmetrics and specify service level targets andbe
  • accountable for proper incident &problem management with the
  • suppliers andshould have acted as escalation point in case ofSLA
  • violations.

  • Skilled in executingbusiness
  • objectives through collaboration anddecisive actions. Provide guidance to
  • the teamin resolving issues in a timely manner and lead technicalteams
  • with focus on innovation and continuousimprovement.

  • Should have diagnosticand
  • analytical ability along with goodinterpersonal teaming delegation and
  • leadership and communicationsskills.

  • Strong troubleshooting problem solvingand
  • conceptualizationskills.

  • Having good knowledge of industrystandard
  • policies standards and procedures isaplus.
