Responsibilities of SecurityProgram Manager

  • Oversee project delivery resource allocation andtimelines serving as the primary contact for escalations andresource issues.
  • Develop program strategy and project plans ensuringalignment with strategic and business goals and taking into accountall dependencies and constraints. Adjust scope timing and budgetsas necessary based upon the needs of the business.
  • Manage crossfunctional programsand projects across various sites & geographical locationsmaintaining detailed schedules and plans considering dependenciesand constraints defining key tasks tracking project deliverablesdependencies and milestones throughout the complete projectlifecycle.
  • Maintainsthe efficiency of the project management process such as planningscheduling and budget and risk assessment. Identifies and mitigatespotential risks.
  • Control project scope quality schedule cost andcontracts through effective change management. Manage change inaccordance with change management plan.
  • Proactively drive projects to successfulcompletion by closely monitoring project progress addressing anyroadblocks promptly and ensuring that all milestones anddeliverables are met on time and within scope.
  • Facilitate effectivedecisionmaking processes to maintain project momentum and alignmentwith strategic objectives.
  • Ensure smooth operations of project activities acrossall phases from initiation to closure including orchestrating theseamless coordination of teams resources and tasks across multiplelocations maintaining constant communication and promptlyaddressing operational challenges to keep projects on track andaligned with business goals
  • dentify recommend and implement improvements inoperational processes and project management practices.
  • Establish KPIs and report onprogram performance highlighting achievements challenges and areasfor improvement.
  • Provide recommendations to streamline or make existingprocesses more efficient.

Requirements for SecurityProgram Manager

  • Working knowledge of compliance frameworks like ISO NISTGDPR and/or other global compliance standards.
  • Good working understanding of theThree Lines of Defense Model and applications within a regulatedglobal business.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Coinbase IT and Securitypolicies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and current program information forstakeholders by updating program management systems.
  • Manage and monitor the delivery of 1LoD and2LoD services provided by India team ensuring adherence to servicelevel agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for addressing deliveryconcerns across the contractor team and ensuring overallsatisfaction. Oversee the delivery of services to ensure qualityefficiency and compliance with agreedupon standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Intl 1LOD2LOD and SPM program teams understanding their needs andexpectations and ensuring they are met by the local CTR resources.
  • Manage process documentation milestonemapping task allocation and communication to facilitate effectivecollaboration.
  • Recognize enhancements withinoperational processes and suggest opportunities for processoptimization.
  • Report on KPIs used to monitorIndia CTR performance highlighting achievements challenges andareas for improvement.
  • Experience with programlifecycles scheduling budgeting risk management and conflictresolution techniques.
  • 6 years of experiencein Project Management Program Management or a similarfield.
  • 3 years of experience supportingsecurity engineering regulatory compliance risk management audit orother applicable programs/projects.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work with minimal supervisionacross time zones and geographies.
  • Recommended: A degree in Computer Science or a relatedfield.
  • Alternatively candidates with a minimumof 510 years of relevant experience in IT and Security ProgramManagement particularly with a focus on managing enterprisescaleprojects and remote personnel may be considered. Proficiency inproject management methodologies information security bestpractices and relevant technical skills is essential. PMP orsimilar certifications are a plus.
