JobDescription:
Weare seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Security Architectto join our team on a 6month contract basis in Doha. The idealcandidate will have a strong background in information securitywith a focus on designing and implementing robust securityarchitectures. The candidate should possess excellent analyticaland problemsolving skills along with a comprehensive understandingof current security threats andtechnologies.
KeyResponsibilities:
SecurityArchitectureDesign:
  • Develop andimplement comprehensive security architectures that align with theorganizations business objectives.
  • Design andreview security solutions ensuring they meet industry bestpractices and regulatoryrequirements.

RiskAssessment andMitigation:
  • Conductrisk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities andrecommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaboratewith stakeholders to prioritize security risks and implementeffective risk managementpractices.

SecurityPolicyDevelopment:
  • Developupdate and enforce security policies andprocedures.
  • Ensure compliance with industrystandards and regulations adapting security policies asneeded.

SecurityInfrastructureImplementation:
  • Overseethe implementation of security infrastructure including firewallsintrusion detection/prevention systems VPNs and endpoint securitysolutions.
  • Work closely with the IT team tointegrate security measures into existinginfrastructure.

IncidentResponse andInvestigation:
  • Developand maintain an incident response plan.
  • Leadinvestigations into security incidents providing timely andthorough reports on findings andrecommendations.

SecurityAwareness andTraining:
  • Conductsecurity awareness programs for employees to enhance theirunderstanding of security risks and bestpractices.
  • Provide training to IT staff onsecurityrelated technologies andprocedures.

SecurityCompliance:
  • Ensurecompliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industrystandards.
  • Stay informed about changes inregulations and update security measuresaccordingly.

CollaborationandCommunication:
  • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to integrate security into all aspectsof the organization.
  • Communicate complexsecurity concepts to nontechnical stakeholderseffectively.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a relatedfield.
  • 56 years of experience in IT securityroles with a focus on architecture anddesign.
  • Certifications such as CISSP CISM orequivalent are highly desirable.
  • Indepthknowledge of security frameworks standards and bestpractices.
  • Strong understanding of networksecurity encryption identity and access management and cloudsecurity.
