JobDescription:We are seeking askilled and experienced Penetration Tester to join our dynamiccybersecurity team in Doha. The successful candidate will beresponsible for conducting thorough security assessments of ourinformation systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommendappropriate measures for mitigation. The role requires indepthknowledge of penetration testing methodologies tools and aproactive approach to identifying and addressing securityrisks.KeyResponsibilities:
- PenetrationTesting:
- Conductpenetration tests on web applications networks and systems toidentify vulnerabilities andweaknesses.
- Perform both manual and automatedtesting to simulate realworldcyberattacks.
- VulnerabilityAssessment:
- Identifyand assess vulnerabilities in information systems through regularscanning and testing.
- Provide detailed reportsoutlining identified vulnerabilities their severity and recommendedremediationsteps.
- SecurityExploitation:
- Simulatecyberattacks to exploit identified vulnerabilities and assess theimpact on the organizations securityposture.
- Collaborate with system owners tovalidate and address securityfindings.
- SocialEngineeringTesting:
- Conductsocial engineering tests to assess the effectiveness of securityawareness training.
- Provide recommendations toenhance employee awareness and resilience against socialengineeringattacks.
- ReportGeneration:
- Preparedetailed and comprehensive penetration testingreports.
- Clearly articulate findings risks andrecommended remediation steps to technical and nontechnicalstakeholders.
- Collaborationwith IT and SecurityTeams:
- Workclosely with IT and security teams to validate and remediateidentified vulnerabilities.
- Provide expertiseand guidance on secure coding practices andconfigurations.
- ResearchandDevelopment:
- Stayabreast of the latest cybersecurity threats vulnerabilities andindustry best practices.
- Contribute to thedevelopment of new testing methodologies andtools.
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology or a relatedfield.
- 56 years of handson experience inpenetration testing.
- Certifications such asOSCP CEH or equivalent are highlydesirable.
- Strong understanding of commonsecurity frameworks andstandards.
- Proficiencyin using penetration testing tools andframeworks.
- Knowledge of scripting andprogramming languages (e.g. PythonBash).
- Excellent communication anddocumentation skills.
