JobDescription:
Weare seeking a skilled and experienced Penetration Tester to joinour dynamic cybersecurity team in Doha. The successful candidatewill be responsible for conducting thorough security assessments ofour information systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommendappropriate measures for mitigation. The role requires indepthknowledge of penetration testing methodologies tools and aproactive approach to identifying and addressing securityrisks.
KeyResponsibilities:
PenetrationTesting:
- Conductpenetration tests on web applications networks and systems toidentify vulnerabilities andweaknesses.
- Performboth manual and automated testing to simulate realworldcyberattacks.
VulnerabilityAssessment:
- Identifyand assess vulnerabilities in information systems through regularscanning andtesting.
- Providedetailed reports outlining identified vulnerabilities theirseverity and recommended remediationsteps.
SecurityExploitation:
- Simulatecyberattacks to exploit identified vulnerabilities and assess theimpact on the organizations securityposture.
- Collaboratewith system owners to validate and address securityfindings.
SocialEngineeringTesting:
- Conductsocial engineering tests to assess the effectiveness of securityawarenesstraining.
- Providerecommendations to enhance employee awareness and resilienceagainst social engineeringattacks.
ReportGeneration:
- Preparedetailed and comprehensive penetration testingreports.
- Clearlyarticulate findings risks and recommended remediation steps totechnical and nontechnicalstakeholders.
Collaborationwith IT and SecurityTeams:
- Workclosely with IT and security teams to validate and remediateidentifiedvulnerabilities.
- Provideexpertise and guidance on secure coding practices andconfigurations.
ResearchandDevelopment:
- Stayabreast of the latest cybersecurity threats vulnerabilities andindustry bestpractices.
- Contributeto the development of new testing methodologies andtools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology or a relatedfield.
- 56 years ofhandson experience in penetrationtesting.
- Certificationssuch as OSCP CEH or equivalent are highlydesirable.
- Strongunderstanding of common security frameworks andstandards.
AdditionalSkills:
- Proficiencyin using penetration testing tools andframeworks.
- Knowledgeof scripting and programming languages (e.g. PythonBash).
- Excellentcommunication and documentationskills.
