This opportunityis based near a major airport on the West Coast MinneapolisCharlotte/Greensboro or Philadelphiaarea.ESSENTIALJOB DUTIESRESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Meetor exceed sales & profitabilitygoals.
  • Identify and target new businessopportunities within the assignedsegment.
  • Develop and nurture longtermrelationships with new and existing customers as a trusted advisor.
  • Must understand and articulate technicalinformation in a concise manner.
  • Bring theVoice of Customer back to the Sales and Business DevelopmentManager.
  • Conduct product presentations toshowcase the value of oursolutions.
  • Collaborate with the technical teamduring customer projects.
  • Prepare and delivercompelling sales proposals and contractnegotiations.
  • Stay up to date with industrytrends and competitive offerings.
  • Manageparticipation in trade shows & sales meetings asnecessary.
  • Provide feedback to improve existingofferings and opportunity areas for new productdevelopment.
  • Detailed and accurate forecastingof opportunities
  • Responsive to requests andinquiries from internal and externalcustomers
  • Generate trip reports and utilizeSales Force.
  • Ability to travel domestically andinternationally up to 50% of thetime.

MINIMUMJOBREQUIREMENTS:EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS:MUSTBE Bilingual
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering orbusiness
  • 8 years of technical related directcapital equipment sales experience in processing
  • Previous experience in theCereal/Snack/Fruit/Vegetable or Nut DryingIndustry
  • Strong closingskills
  • Dedicated workethic
  • Technicalcompetence
  • Excellent presentationskills
  • Sound knowledge of PC use andapplications
PREFERREDEDUCATION ANDEXPERIENCE:
  • Previoususe of Sales Force
  • Thermal processing orindustrial drying experience
  • Food processingindustry sales experience
  • Knowledge ofEngineering and Manufacturingprocesses
PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS:
  • Sittingin a normal seated position for extended periods oftime.
  • Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s)in any direction.
  • Finger dexterity required tomanipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) orarm(s) for example using akeyboard.
  • Communication skills using the spokenword.
  • Ability to see within normalparameters.
  • Ability to hear within normalrange.
  • Ability to moveabout.
  • Ability to physically lift and carry aminimum of 25lbs.
  • Ability totravel.
WORKINGCONDITIONS:
  • Workingconditions are normal for an officeenvironment.

  • Required:English
  • Bilingual: Spanish Mandarin orPortuguese is aplus
