Responsibilities:
  1. Dailyreview and processing of the deal inbox vetting onmarket listingsagainst search criteria and assessing which we should proceed ingetting more details of. Processing roughly 50 150 deals per day.
  2. Reviewing and signing NDAs of opportunities wed like more information on ensuring that there s nothing in the NDAthat might charge us money or is something that could put us atrisk. 10 or more per week.
  3. Conduct detailedreviews of Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs) and Profit& Loss statements to assess the financial health andperformance trends of potential acquisition targets and whether itwould make a good match for our the Founder. 10 or more per week.
  4. Beyond numerical analysis evaluate thebusiness model market position competitive landscape and growthpotential of target companies.
  5. Writing detailednotes of questions concerns areas of clarification needed to helpthe founder prepare for calls with brokers or owners of businessopportunities.
  6. Communicating with owners orbrokers via email to get more information and missing pieces.
  7. Coordinating on tasks needed to be completedby the founder including reviewing opportunities and taking callsto ensure there s enough time to get them done.
  8. Reviewing transcripts broker/owner calls doinga final assessment of any additional financial details and ifopportunity makes past our vetting and create a comprehensivewriteup. We aim for at least 1 write up per week.
  9. Ensure healthy deal flow noticing trends andworking with the Founder to adapt when things slow or pick up.
  10. Owning and updating the on and off marketpipelines on our Hubspot CRM daily ensuring deals are processeduptodate comprehensive and moved expediently as time kills alldeals .
  11. Owning and constantly updating allSOPs/Playbooks for the deal pipelineprocesses.
Your Skills/Experience
  • FinancialAcumen: Proficient in analyzing Profit &Loss statements Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements.Comfortable with financial forecasting and calculations forSDE/Adjusted EBITDA DSCR investor returns (MOIC/IRR) andunderstanding loan payments working capital capex and cashconversion cycles.
  • MarketAnalysis: Capable of evaluating market conditions todetermine if businesses are in growth stagnation ordecline.
  • Attention to Detail:Exceptionally focused on the fine details ensuringaccuracy and thoroughness in all aspects ofwork.
  • Trend Identification:Adept at spotting both market and financial trendsidentifying risks and opportunities within potentialdeals.
  • Opportunity Management:Ability to track and manage multiple opportunitiessimultaneously without losingfocus.
  • Business Insight:Strong understanding of small business dynamics andfactors contributing to a stable and successfulbusiness.
  • M&A Experience:Knowledgeable in mergers and acquisitions with apreference for experience in the small to medium businesssector.
  • Consulting Background:Experience in business consulting providing a solidfoundation for evaluating business models andstrategies.
  • Virtual CommunicationProficiency: Youre adept with modern communicationplatforms including Telegram for team collaboration Signal forsecure communications and Zoom for video conferencing. Familiarityand comfort or willingness to independently and quickly learn thesetools are essential for effective remote teamwork andinteraction.
