We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team and work with our engineering teams to optimize, implement, and maintain our organization’s cloud-based systems. A Cloud Engineer’s responsibilities include executing new cloud initiatives, supporting projects with cloud infrastructure and deploying and debugging systems. You will work with different teams to ensure our cloud computing systems meet the needs of our organization and customers.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems
Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security
Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements
Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs
Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions
Modifying and improving existing systems
Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives
Experience working with international teams (North America, Europe etc.)
Requirements & Skills:
5+ years of relevant experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role with bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Must have strong knowledge of AWS cloud computing platform. Experience with Azure is a plus.
Experience with deploying Machine Learning applications on AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
Working Experience in designing/architecting, developing, and managing AWS-based infrastructure, SSO implementations and applications.
Experience with programming languages, such as Python
Basic understanding of identity provisioning and how it interfaces with applications
Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
Good to have AWS Associate level certification or equivalent experience
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams such as DT/IT infrastructure, Global Trade, Networking, etc.
Actively learn new technologies and features that can positively impact the projects and its users
Preferred experience with tools such as CDK, terraform, artifactory, github, Kubernetes, WIZ
Preferred experience with DevOps tools – Jenkins, Gitlab etc.
