The Opportunity
As a member of the Global People Services (GPS) team, you will create an irresistible employee experience while responding to employee inquiries and ensuring a seamless experience for our global workforce. This role requires a strategic and growth mindset, excellent leadership skills across the business, and a deep understanding of the shared services model. People Team at Nutanix The Global People Services (GPS) team is responsible for delivering high-quality services to employees across various employment lifecycle and people program needs, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, recruitment, training and development, payroll, and compliance. They work collaboratively with other teams within the People Team and relevant stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure a seamless employee experience and uphold compliance with employment laws and regulations. The GPS team operates in a fast-paced environment and thrives on finding creative solutions to challenges. They are dedicated to continuously improving the delivery of people services and strive for excellence in their work. Your Role Provide leadership and direction in support of maturing the service delivery model of GPS, including driving a consistent irresistible experience, designing and documenting standardized processes and procedures for global scalability, establishing and governing process and performance, and executing radical continuous performance improvement Lead a team of 5 direct reports within a greater global team executing people services, while also influencing and representing the broader remit of Global People Services locally in India Own global responsibility for compliance, audit, and statutory needs within Global People Services remit to assess risk, identify gaps and implement corrective or risk mitigation actions Identify opportunities for automating People processes to increase efficiency and accuracy Engage with key stakeholders within and across regions and organizations to ensure alignment with business needs and direction Support People projects and initiatives to ensure key resources are available for employees What You Will Bring Previous experience directly leading a mid-size team, setting goals and objectives, reviewing performance and an ability to coach and develop In-depth understanding of HR operations and processes Ability to work independently, think critically, take initiative, be curious and collaborate Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience with Workday or other HRM systems Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Strong interpersonal skills Adaptability to work across global teams About the Team About Your Manager: Your manager for this role will be the Senior Manager, People Services.
