Careers that Change Lives The Senior Business Developer for the medical surgical division will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities, forging key relationships, and driving revenue growth within the medical surgical market segment. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in the surgical domain, and a proven track record of driving business development initiatives

A Day in the Life

Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the medical surgical segment. Develop strategic business plans and go-to-market strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and achieve revenue targets. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including surgeons, hospital administrators, purchasing managers, and distributors. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and product development to ensure alignment with customer needs and market trends. New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new product launches, partnerships, and distribution channels. Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and partners to drive revenue growth and market penetration. Sales Support and Training: Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively promote and sell medical surgical products. Support sales efforts through product presentations, demonstrations, and participation in key customer meetings and events. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activities to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities within the medical surgical segment. . Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in B.tech/B.pharma/B,sc; MBA preferred.Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the healthcare industry, with a focus on medical devices or surgical products.Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.Strong understanding of the medical surgical market landscape, including knowledge of key players, trends, and regulatory requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.Strategic thinker with analytical mindset, capable of translating market insights into actionable business plans.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions Nice to Have

ØStrong Interpersonal skills, with focused People/Customer/Result orientation.

ØStrong grasp on the market and understanding around the complexities, competition, customer preferences etc

ØAbility to prioritize and execute as per the needs of the business and the current set of challenges
