Job Family – Sales Support

The Sales Support team provides functional and technical support throughout the sales process and ensures internal and external customers obtain appropriate product/solution knowledge. Ensure proposals are accurately and efficiently prepared to optimize the potential of a profitable business.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the local sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of offers. Provides technical support during the technical meeting.
  • Selection of measurement products (Flow Meters: Electromagnetic, Coriolis Mass, Thermal, Variable Area; Pressure Transmitters; Temperature Sensors and Transmitters; Level Transmitters,
  • Prepares technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Business Unit/feeder factory suggestions and Sales organization directives.

 Qualifications

  • Specialized knowledge of field instrumentation to measure and monitor flow, level, pressure, and temperature.
  • Experience in product selection and configuration, quotation preparation, technical document compliance, vendor coordination, Full-Cost Model calculation, and technical query clarification
  • Knowledge of Sales Operations Tools – Salesforce Opportunity Management, Reports, and Dashboards.
  • Exposure and understanding of the industrial processes - Power Plant, Water, Metals & Minerals, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper.
  • Exposure and understanding of international standards - ISA, API, ANSI/ASME, ISO, IEC, and PIP
  • 3-7 Years of relevant work experience in sales support, bids, and proposal.
  • B.E/ B. Tech in Instrumentation or Electronics.
