At Siemens EDA (Sales & Services) Private Limited, we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Application Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales and services team, you will be responsible for the technical selling and support of our leading-edge Design and Verification portfolio.

About the Role

The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of VHDL/Verilog, SystemVerilog, and UVM, as well as experience with simulation/verification using directed tests, constraint random testing, assertions, and coverage-driven verification methods. Strong working knowledge in EDA tools like Mentor Graphics' ModelSim, Questa, VCS, NC-Sim, IUS, Visualizer, and Verdi tools is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with sales and field technical team members to lead, define, and implement technical engagements that support sales campaigns.
  • Provide technical leadership on all aspects of sales campaigns, contributing to and executing pre-sales and post-sales account strategies as a member of the sales team.
  • Qualify the technical viability of sales opportunities and communicate them to the sales team.
  • Deliver Siemens EDA Design and Verification portfolio presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers, effectively communicating the value proposition of Siemens EDA solutions.
  • Bring up simulation and integrate VIP in customer testbench or guide them to do so themselves.
  • Proactively share account, evaluation, competitor, technology, and other helpful information with peers, sales teams, management, and product divisions to help us compete more effectively.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing positive relationships with customers.
  • Ensure customers receive timely, effective support.
  • Influence marketing and product groups to meet customers' needs and shape product direction.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure mutual success.

Job Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will possess a BE in Electronics or Computer Engineering or equivalent with 7+ years of work experience in semiconductor or EDA, or a Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of work experience in semiconductor or EDA.
  • Excellent presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks are required.
