Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development:
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales of automotive cables to
    OEMs, Tier 1, and Tier 2 suppliers.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities, while nurturing existing client
    relationships.
  • Conduct regular visits to OEMs and suppliers to maintain and grow key
    accounts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all sales-related activities for assigned
    accounts.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at OEMs
    and suppliers.
  • Understand the customer & business needs and provide tailored solutions based
    on product offerings.
  • Address any concerns or issues raised by clients and work towards resolution.
3. Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular updates on account progress.
  • Track and report on sales performance against targets and KPIs.
  • Prepare detailed reports on customer feedback, market trends, and competitive
    landscape.
4. Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, logistics)
    to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage product development, pricing
    strategies, and delivery schedules.
5. Market Intelligence:
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to
    identify new opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings
    to strengthen the brand presence.
6. Negotiation & Contract Management:
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with key clients.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining profitability.


RequirementsQualifications & Skills:

Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics) or
    B.Sc. MBA (preferred)
Experience:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in sales, account management, or
    business development, specifically in the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience working with OEMs, Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers in the
    automotive sector.
Industry Exposure:
  • Experience in the automotive OEM sector, cable industry, auto components,
    tires, lubricants, or battery industry.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) for effective interaction
    with clients, colleagues, and senior management.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade.
  • Good understanding of automotive cable requirements and applications.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal
    supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to identify and resolve issues
    quickly.
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel across India as required to meet customers and prospects.
  • Strong networking abilities and a high level of professionalism.
