The Band 2 Desktop Technicianwill provide daytoday local/remote desktop support receive inboundcalls answer questions troubleshoot and document steps performed toresolve challenges with hardware software and application issues ina ticketing system. The candidate will also need to facilitatecustomer resolution for calls and engage their supervisors andmanagers to ensure operational consistency across all shifts withinthe IT Support Center. Desktop Support Engineer provides Break Fixfault diagnosis and resolution. Providing fault analysis tocustomers various core operating systems and platforms as well beable to provide support and apply desktop fault resolution for theapproved application suite.

Reading error codes flashed up on thedevice
Swapping outhardware
Tracing faults usingdiagnostic devices and software
Upgrading components
Assistingthe support staff of other serviceproviders
May require somestaggered shifts
Will requiresome travel to sites
Other dutiesmay be assigned
Common inventorymanagement techniquesknowledge

RequirementsWorkexperience at a minimum of 3 years. to perform warranty hardwarerepair of HP Dell and Lenovo devices including warranty partsordering repair/replacement and defective partreturn.
Workingtechnical knowledge of Windows operating systems to allow forresolution of issues or full rebuild of the PC using clientspecific documentation provided by theclient.
Familiarity withOSX iOS and Android operating systems in order to providebesteffort support to End users using relateddevices.
Workingtechnical knowledge of Microsoft Office Products antivirus productsdesktop services to allow for resolution of software applicationissues.
Ability toutilize provided knowledge article to resolve issues with clientspecificapplications.

Work experience at a minimum of 3 years. to perform warrantyhardware repair of HP, Dell, and Lenovo devices including warrantyparts ordering, repair/replacement, and defective part return.Working technical knowledge of Windows operating systems to allowfor resolution of issues, or full rebuild of the PC using clientspecific documentation provided by the client.
