L2 Support Engineer

Location : Chennai

Exp : 4+years

Seeking a passionate and talented L2 support engineers who have experience in handling L2 Support for an eCommerce application and can code. This is a high visibility team where you will get a chance to make a positive impact on customer experience as well as you will be working with all developers across all the teams.


Duties and Responsibilities :


As part of the team you will :


- Work on all the Emails, PD, Monitoring, Big Data findings and CS Issues which is escalated from L1.


- Do technical analysis on the issue using new technologies like NodeJS / Kibana / Bigdata and resolve the customer issue using coding as data fix. If this is a deep rooted issue in code, pass on the finding to Dev Team


- Have periodical follow-up with the Dev Team to bring the issue to conclusion


- Work end to end on micro-services and SPAs built on cutting edge technologies like Nodejs, Golang and React


- Work with great Engineers and solve difficult problems aimed at making the Customer experience seamless


- Learn from developers on the RCA of an issue as well as get technical guidance on your career growth


You will be expected to have :


- Should know L2 day-to-day activities, Basic Coding Knowledge, NodeJS exposure and good English communication.


- Experience in communicating with other technical teams and get things done.


- Ability to work independently with the guidance of the Leads and Managers


- Be responsible for solving all kind of customer issue and expose the Dev Team very minimal to the customer


Skills needed :


- Strong Experience in L2 Support


- Good analytical and programming skills


- Good in problem solving skills


- Good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals


- Good understanding of web technologies


- Quick learner with passion to learn and adapt to new technologies


- Excellent verbal and written communications skills


- Attention to details and striving for perfection


Basic Qualifications :


- Bachelors / Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field in a reputed institution


- 4 - 7 years professional experience in Production Support


- Good in software development (NodeJS)


Preferred Qualifications :


Proficient in technologies like :


- Nodejs


- React


- PSQL


- DB


- Kibana


- ReactJS (Optional)


- Experience with working in Linux based environment


- Good communication and design skills
