  • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales for an exciting opportunity in the rapidly expanding Advanced Electronics sector.
  • In this role, you will have full responsibility for customer acquisition, revenue growth, and profitability. You will drive the commercial success of the business unit by building strong relationships with CXOs and key decision-makers at Automotive and Energy OEMs, partnering with them to navigate the transition to electric mobility.
  • Your responsibilities will include developing the annual business plan and budget, as well as creating and executing sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to achieve ambitious annual targets.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of enthusiastic Sales personnel's with an average experience of > 10 years.
  • Build and take full ownership of annual budget of Maxwell's Business Performance by defining clear product and customer strategies including managing effort of Marketing & Sales
  • Build up of relationships with OEM top management, purchasing and engineering departments.
  • Analyze necessities and make proposals to win business from OEMs in India & International Markets
  • Take initiatives to improve processes and increase Maxwell's ability to build deep, meaningful partnerships with our OE customers.
  • Identify local and regional market needs and support the sales team to convert these opportunities as well as manage customer activities. Identify new market opportunities beyond automotive for company expansion.
  • Acquire new clients to expand business, grow customer base & gain market share (Key KPIs - Order book growth, Revenues). Act as the primary lead for commercial negotiations and price settlement. Ensure profitability by maintaining minimum gross margins (KPI - %GM)
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all escalations.
  • Be the ‘customer voice’ inside the organization. Act as a primary point of contact for clients for any kind of escalations to provide exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Actively participate and represent the company in industry events & conferences.
  • Develop and execute effective business development strategies and action plans to drive revenue growth, and meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.

Must have requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales (Automotive experience preferred)
  • Managing 200Cr+ of "Electronics/ECU Product Sales" business (not services)
  • BE/B-Tech (Electronics/Electrical engineering preferred)
  • Good presentation and communication skills, with a good grasp of English & Hindi.
  • Self-starter, Good Negotiation skills and details oriented with an analytical mindset and approach towards problem-solving.

Nice to have requirements:

  • Understanding of Advanced Electronics in APAC and EU.
