Our client, an innovative player in the technology industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to drive growth and lead their sales function. This strategic leader will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building and mentoring a high-performing sales team, and expanding the client base to achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate is data-driven, goal-oriented, and brings a strong understanding of technology solutions and industry trends.
Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets, focusing on customer acquisition, market penetration, and expansion.
- Lead and Manage the Sales Team: Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of sales professionals to drive high performance. Set clear sales goals, monitor performance, and provide ongoing training and support.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Identify new business opportunities, drive strategic deals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand the client base and increase market share.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and foster loyalty.
- Analyze Market Trends and Competitor Activity: Stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies as needed.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and regular reports to the CEO and executive team, providing insights into sales performance and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and drive seamless customer experiences.
- Implement Sales Tools and Processes: Utilize CRM and sales analytics tools to streamline workflows, monitor KPIs, and optimize sales processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in sales leadership within the technology industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales success.
- Strong understanding of technology solutions and their impact on business operations.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as necessary.
