What You'll Do: 
As a Regional Logistics Manager, you will be responsible to lead logistics operations in India and oversee logistics operations in rest of MEA countries. Your responsibilities would include Road Transportation, Warehousing, Import and Export, Marine and Terminal, Site logistics etc.  Your responsibilites would including ensuring that Lubrizol logistics operations comply to all applicable company standards and applicable rules & regulations in the country. You would also be driving continuous improvement in safety, service, quality, and productivity performance.


What We're Looking For (Responsibilities / Accountabilities):  
•    Owns the logistics performance metrics in the responsible area. Investigate, analyze the deviations, and identify actions / projects to improve the bottom line.
•    Being an effective people leader, develop talents, provide coaching and motivate overall team performance. 
•    Continuously improve logistics process efficiency and resiliency by leveraging available technologies.
•    Improve safety aspects of entire logistic operations including Transportation, warehousing etc.
•    Support business growth in the region by creating strong and efficient Logistic organization. 
•    Set up and implement vendor management programs in terms of standards, KPIs and escalation process etc. Engage 3rd party logistics (3PL) services providers from issue resolving to systematic win-win solutions.  
•    Ensure that the 3PL operation manuals are up to date, controlled, revised according to business needs. Benchmark and apply industry best practices.
•    Provide insight on local logistics regulatory environment as well as industry trend. Collaborate with log purchasing to define sourcing strategy to ensure Lubrizol’s sustainable logistics performance with competitive edge.
•    Ensure a satisfied customer experience with all logistics touch points. Lead business engagement council to collect business requirement and provide proactive operation feedback. 
•    Manage both tactical and strategic service offering to businesses based on logistics industry market dynamics.

 

Skills That Make a Difference:
•    Bachelor’s degree or above
•    15+ years of hands-on logistics operations experience in Import/export/Logistic/warehouse management. 
•    Experience in vendor management of Freight forwarders, customs brokers, Warehouse and Transportation.
•    Profound knowledge in International Trade, Exim, as well as India logistics operation environment.
•    Experience in managing domestic as well as overseas team of professionals.
•    Certification in logistics, transportation and distribution (CLTD) will be added advantage.
