We are a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka andOur client is a leading FMCG company head office based in Colombo.They are no 1 in the industry they operate and now have started itsnew distribution channels in India looking for sales pfficers tojoin their sales team. Below is the summery of the Job Description.

Job Role
  • Build andmaintain strong relationships with assigneddistributors.
  • Collaboratewith distributors to increase primary order volume and expand reachto newretailers.
  • Assistdistributors in achieving sales targets and provide ongoingsupport.
  • Call 25retailers daily including standalone supermarkets and largeretailers.
  • Effectivelypresent and close deals to secure productorders.
  • Manageand track assigned sales territory to ensure product availability.Secure prime shelf placement within the biscuit category forassignedproducts.
  • Implementand monitor PointofSale (POS) materials to enhance brand visibilityat retailoutlets.
  • Monitorstock rotation and freshness to ensure product quality and timelyreplenishment.
  • Achieveassigned primary and secondary sales targets within the definedterritory.
  • Regularlytrack and report on sales performancemetrics.
  • Identifyand recruit potential distributors with 35 years of experiencemanaging similarchannels.
  • Onboardand train new distributors to ensure effective partnership andproductrepresentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’sdegree in business administration Sales Marketing or relatedfield.
  • Proven track recordof at least 3 years in sales roles within the FMCG industrypreferably in the foodsector.
  • Strong negotiationand communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholdersat variouslevels.
  • Sound understandingof distributor management and retail salesoperations.
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite and familiarity with sales trackingsoftware.
  • Willingness to travelextensively within the assignedterritory.
