Business Analyst Credit Risk Management

  1. Academic qualifications would include Engineering + MBA (Marketing and HR MBA is strict no-no), courses like FRM or Business Analytics is a plus. CA or CFA are also fine but generally they do not take up implementation roles however there can be exceptions.
  2. Past experience should include any of the Big 4 consulting firms or IT firms (BAs in risk management or financial services space) or any product company in financial services like Oracle, XL Dynamics etc or rating agencies like Care/Icra/Crisil/FIS or Banks.
  3. Skillsets should include problem solving skills, excel, experience in tools like Tableau or BI is an added advantage.
  4. We are not looking for skills or experience in the areas of tax audit or sales/marketing or pre-sales or accounting.
  5. If the candidate is in early years of his/her career then a BA profile in any financial service/financial analyst position is worth a shot.
