Deputy Area Manager

- The Deputy Area Manager (DAM) is responsible for acquiring and managing a team of part-time Insurance Managers (IMs), aiming for 6-7 IM acquisitions annually.
- The role includes supporting IMs through training, performance management, and operational support, ensuring they meet sales targets and maintain high-quality standards in business practices.
- After successful completion of one year, DAMs may advance to the role of CDM, focusing on the Independent Marketing Firm (IMF) journey.
Requirements
· Understand the IM acquisition and also IMF regulation, value proposition & registration process.
· Acquisition of 6 - 7 IM’s in a year independently.
· Independently managing a pool of Insurance Managers mapped to them from existing pool in the beginning only.
· Post successful completion of 1 year, the next level is CDM wherein the focus will be on IMF journey.
· Manage performance of IM’s
o Develop understanding of products & coach IM staff on product USP’s
o Implement performance management and rewards system in IM’s.
o Provide marketing, training and operational support to IM’s
o Manage attrition of IM’s through revival or replacement
· Drive quality of business sourced from IM’s
o Ensure right product mix and control key quality measures such as leakage and persistency.
