A RE A S OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary objective of position:

• Strategicallydrives total profitable revenue and market share growth for the assignedCorporate segments.

• Negotiate on allrelated business to secure optimal agreements in line with sales strategies.

• The jobincumbent should be active, proactive, analyzing, and achieving results inevery respect.

• All workwill be in line with the region’s guidelines, Business plan, The Radisson HotelGroup corporate guidelines 

and service concepts.

• To lead, supportand work alongside internal and external stakeholders to drive strategiccommercial 

projects and activities.

• Driveperformance and market share.

• RepresentRadisson Hotel Group at meetings and trade shows as required. 

• All workwill be in line with the Radisson Hotel Group corporate guidelines and serviceconcepts. 

Sales Strategy and Delivery  

• Regular meetingswith the Area Director of Sales (North), Sales, South Asia to reviewperformance of 

assigned portfolio, set objectives and to ensure that actionplans are in implemented for the

area/market segments. 

• Identifiesnew business opportunities or strategies. 

• Createsand drives new sales plans when applicable within market segment. 

• Achievesoverall Sales targets for specific market segments. 

• Implementsstrategies to facilitate market penetration for increased national andinternational 

production to meet increasing demands reflecting in the changeand growth of the Company. 

• Conductsclient inspections to secure business or confirm new business. 

• Reviewsmarket analysis to determine client needs, occupancy potential, desired andcompetitive rates etc. 

• Drive andmaintain overall sales to gain new business development opportunities andmonitor completion 

of pro-active sales activities and projects. 

Role & Responsibilities  

• Drive allrevenue and market share growth for the area. 

• Developknowledge of each account, its pipeline, supplier management and strategicfocus. 

• Create anduse consultative selling approach to maximize commercial opportunity. 

• Stay ontop of industry trends, news and competitor activities. 

• AttendsRadisson Sales Activities and/or trade shows in key market cities to developnew business and to 

contact established clients in these cities. 

Job Requirements

• Diploma /Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent

• Minimum 10years of relevant sales experience in hospitality and/or tourism

• Goodorganizational skills with excellent follow-up ability.

• Analyticalskills to understand and respond to key business indicators and competitivetrends is an advantage

• Demonstratedstrong ability to work independently as one person army and as a team.

• Ability totravel independently

• Positiveattitude and self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

• Ability toeffectively listen, communicate and perform diplomacy with internal andexternal stakeholders

• To assistone another to achieve combined goals.

• Excellentcommunication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
