Assistant Manager

You will play a key role in ensuring thefinancial success and sustainability of the hotel by providingstrategic financial guidance and implementing sound financialpractices.
KeyResponsibilities:
FinancialManagement: Identify optimal cost effectiveuse of the resources and educate the team on thesame.
PeopleManagement: Establish and maintain seamlesscoordination & cooperation with all departments of thehotel to ensure maximum cooperation productivity and guest service.Respond to queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficientmanner to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure that all personnelare kept well informed of departments objectives andpolicies.
FinancialReporting: Prepare accurate and timelyfinancial reports including monthly financial statements varianceanalysis and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior managementand corporateheadquarters.
- Cash FlowManagement: Monitor cash flow projectionsand liquidity requirements optimize cash resources and implementcash management strategies to ensure adequate funding forpreopening activities and ongoingoperations.
- CostControl: Implement cost control measuresand monitor expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraintsand maximize profitability while maintaining highqualitystandards.
- InternalControls: Establish and maintain robustinternal controls and financial procedures to safeguard assetsprevent fraud and ensure compliance with company policiesaccounting standards and regulatoryrequirements.
- Capital ExpenditureManagement: Manage capital expenditureprojects evaluate investment opportunities and coordinate withproject teams to ensure costeffective allocation of resources andtimely completion ofprojects.
- TeamLeadership: Lead and mentor the financeteam members providing guidance coaching and support to fostertheir professional development and ensure highperformance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorsdegree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or relatedfield; Masters degree or professional certification (e.g. CPA CFA)preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years ofprogressive experience in finance and accounting roles preferablyin the hospitality industry or a related field with at least 1year in a managerial capacity.
- Strongfinancial acumen with a deep understanding of financial principlespractices and regulations.
- Excellent analyticalskills with the ability to interpret financial data analyze trendsand develop actionable insights.
- Strong teammanagement skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teammembers to achieve organizationalgoals.
- Excellent communication presentation andinterpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively withsenior management stakeholders and externalpartners.
