JobDescription: Develop and implement the Modern Tradesales strategy and growth plans in line with businessobjectives.
Drive profitability and achieve revenue andmarket share targets within the Modern Trade channel.
Align trade marketing and promotions with the Modern Trade salesstrategy and overall business strategy.
Lead resourcefor planning portfolio growth initiatives assortment planninglaunch planning and execution.
Oversee categorymanagement and promotion planning activities.
Driveoperational efficiency within the Modern Trade channel.
Monitor performance metrics and take corrective actions asneeded.
Achieve planned sales targets by channel andcustomer.
Foster consistent growth by managing internaland external stakeholders effectively.
Managepromotional budgets and ensure effective spending to drive salesand brand building.
Lead negotiations for instoreactivations merchandising and sellout plans with keyaccounts.
Negotiate annual trading and logisticcontracts with Modern Trade chains.
Provide tradeinformation competitor activities and market intelligence to thecompany.
Manage accounts receivables and resolveoutstanding debts promptly.
Resolve customer tradeissues complaints and operational matters efficiently.
Manage a large workforce across the Modern Tradechannel.
Review and manage outstation outlets throughfrequent market visits and coordination with local salesmanagement.
Collaborate closely with Key AccountManagers to achieve company objectives and vision.
Leadthe brands entry into National and Regional Modern Tradechains.
Build and mentor a highperforming sales teamproviding guidance and coaching to ensure alignment withorganizational goals.
Manage business P&L andrevenue generation including launching building and growingbusiness operations within the audio and wearablesindustry.
TheSuccessful Applicant:
The idealcandidate should have extensive experience managing the ModernTrade channel within the audio and wearables industry. They must becapable of leading and
operating independently in adynamic startup environment.
Competencies andqualifications:
MBA or Mastersdegree in business administration marketing or a relatedfield.
1015 years of experience in sales and channelmanagement with at least 5 years of exposure to Modern Trade formatwithin the audio and wearables industry.
Proficiency inTamil and Telugu.
Proven track record of successfullyleading and growing sales teams in the consumer electronics audioor wearables sector.
Strong understanding of ModernTrade channels including key players market trends and distributionstrategies.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and managecontracts with Modern Trade chains and large retailers.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor salesteams towards achieving business objectives.
Proficiencyin microsoft suite for datadriven decisionmaking and performancetracking.
Strong business acumen and understanding offinancial metrics to drive profitability and manage budgetseffectively.
