Senior Manager I

In the role of Marketing Manager for Ads, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and product marketing strategies to drive thought leadership, customer awareness, engagement and revenue growth through various advertising channels. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in the e-commerce industry. Collaborating with some of the industry's leading ad tech professionals, you will play a crucial role in steering the marketing direction for one of the most rapidly expanding domains in digital advertising - e-commerce advertising.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. Product Marketing: Collaborate with the product team to understand product features, benefits, and unique selling propositions. Develop and execute product marketing strategies to drive awareness, demand, and sales. Thought leadership: Establish the company as a thought leader in the industry through participation in industry events, webinars, and the creation of authoritative content. Drive initiatives that showcase the expertise and innovation of Flipkart within the market. Content Marketing: Develop a content marketing strategy that includes blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and other relevant content formats. Oversee the creation of high-quality content that aligns with brand messaging and resonates with the target audience. Advertising Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize online advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other relevant channels. Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and adjust strategies to maximize ROI. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Communication: Work closely with the agency to develop compelling ad creatives and messaging that resonate with the target audience. Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales initiatives and promotional activities. Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track and report on the performance of advertising campaigns. Provide regular, detailed reports to the leadership team, highlighting key insights and recommendations for improvement. MBA from Tier 1 institute Experience of 4-8 years in these areas – online advertising/ digital marketing/product marketing Experience in B2B and ad tech will be a plus Understanding of digital media and advertising landscape in India Decent Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, HTML Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good stakeholder management skills Strong display of Flipkart values and ethos, high level of interest in learning new things Strong interpersonal skills, strong problem solving & Prioritization skills with an
