KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS:

  • Perform general accounting and reporting
    • Perform general accounting
      • Processjournal entries
      • Prepare Accrual Prepayment& Provisions
      • Processallocations
      • Process period endadjustments
      • Post and reconcile intercompanytransactions
      • Reconcile general ledgeraccounts
      • Perform consolidations and processeliminations
      • Prepare trial balance
      • Prepare and post management adjustments
      • Adherence to Accounting procedures andguidelines
    • Performfixedasset accounting
      • Maintain fixedassetmaster data files
      • Process and recordfixedasset additions and retires
      • Process andrecord fixedasset adjustments enhancements revaluations andtransfers
      • Calculate and record depreciationexpense
      • Reconcile fixedasset ledger
    • Perform financial reporting
      • Prepare business unit financial statements onmonthly quarterly and annual basis
      • Preparecash flows Inter Company reports
      • Assistingwith preparing and monitoring budgets.
      • Preparing revenue projections and forecastingexpenditure
      • Maintaining and reconcilingbalance sheet and general ledger accounts
      • Assisting with annual audit preparations
      • Investigating and resolving audit findings accountdiscrepancies and issues of noncompliance
      • Contributing to the development of new or amendedaccounting systems programs and procedures
      • Perform business unit reporting/review managementreports
      • HFM Reporting and ClearingValidation
  • Preparation and filing of all internalrevenue taxes (income tax VAT withholding taxes etc.) as perapplicable entities
  • Preparation and filing ofVAT refund claims. (as per applicable entities)
  • Preparation and uploading of staffs payroll as perapplicable entities
  • Ensure Group financialpolicies are followed across entities
  • Preparesmatrix for the respective entities
  • Providetrainings to New Hires
  • Audit transactionsprocessed by Accountants
  • Support TLs inperforming administrative tasks
  • Share bestpractices with other team members
  • Works onProcess Improvement projects
  • Supporting TLswith reviewing the consolidation and month end reporting of coreFinancial Statements P&L Balance sheet and Cashflow
  • Understand stakeholders requirements and out perform theexpectations

LIMITS OF AUTHORITY: As directed byLine Manager

SKILLS QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:

  • Full Time Graduation inCommerce or any other related field
  • Minimum 5years of experience in GL Accounting
  • GoodKnowledge of MS office especially Excel Skills
  • Excellent accounting knowledge.
  • Experience of having worked on an ERP will be an addedadvantage

  • Goodwritten & verbal communication skills
  • Goodinterpersonal /business skills both oral and written with goodtelephone skills
  • Ability to work on owninitiative in a Team environment
  • Goodorganizational & time management skills
  • Analytical approach / good problemsolvingskills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office MSPowerPoint advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP pivot table understandingon usage of keyboard Shortcuts etc.)
  • Excellentstakeholder management
  • Fluency in English andany other foreign language will be an added advantage
