**Purpose**

The main responsibility is to drive and support change and continuous improvement of the R2R operations in the Finance Operations team in terms of organization, processes, controls and supporting systems.
- Contribute to a continuous improvement and LEAN culture in the global accounting operations
- Support in defining and start-up break-through projects that will bring the global accounting operations in a world-class best position
- Work together the Regional Accounting Centers (RAC) to plan, define, implement and embed the identified improvements structurally in the global accounting operations
- Support in defining and driving the mid-term and long-term strategic agenda for the global R2R accounting operations
- Monitor and ensure global and regional controls relating to the Regional Accounting Centers (RAC) for example KPIs and SOX

**Key Responsibilities**

**RPA Processes**
- Responsible for (functional) maintenance and improvements related to RPA used for Inter-company reconciliation, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations and Transfer Pricing
- Maintain functional scrips/templates and procedures related to the RPA tooling used within Finance Operations
- Initiate changes / improvements to RPA and work together with IM and RAC teams to implement required updates and changes
- Support in building and maintaining relations with all relevant stakeholders regarding the different RPA processes
- Analyze data to identify potential automation (RPA or other tooling) and process harmonization improvements within the R2R accounting area

**ServiceNow**
- Responsible for (functional) maintenance and improvements related to ServiceNow used for Inter-company invoicing and Manual Journal Entries
- Maintain templates and procedures related to the ServiceNow tooling used within Finance Operations
- Initiate changes / improvements to ServiceNow and work together with IM and RAC teams to implement required updates and changes

**Controls**
- Analyze KPI dashboard and work together with RAC teams to improve operational performance
- Maintain the Global Process Descriptions (GPDs) for R2R
- Perform periodic global key-controls and document execution of controls based on SOX requirements
- Review execution of key-controls done locally / in the RAC and verify if documentation standards are being followed

**Communication and knowledge sharing**
- Work closely together with other functions/disciplines like Controlling, ISC and IM

Create active user community across the Regional Accounting Centers - sharing best practices preferable per tower

**_ Essential educational qualifications, relevant experience and requested skills._**
- Master-degree in Finance or equivalent work experience preferred
- Finance professional with preferably _~5_-8 years of relevant and in-depth work experience in R2R (processes and systems) and capable of analyzing data and complex processes and issues
- Hands-on mentality related to financial systems (SAP), operational processes and eager to learn [vZJ(1]
- Preferably work-experience with RPA solutions / AI solutions
- Act as a respected, independent business partner to both internal and external customers
- Ability to work with different cultures and different management styles, and to influence people / teams from remote location
- Strong multi-task, ability to follow-through and attention to details
- Professional, good analytical skills, proactive service attitude, flexible, ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and networking skills to current and future stakeholders
- Having a continuous improvement mindset and eager to drive change
- Hands-on mentality related to financial systems and operational processes
- Fluent in English language

[vZJ(1]In my opinion strong affinity with SAP and willingness to do analysis in SAP is a must
