Nouryon has an outstanding opportunity for a Procure to Pay (P2P) Process Excellence Lead in Navi Mumbai, India, reporting to the Global Process Owner for P2P.


Purpose of the Job

The end-to-end P2P process spans across purchase requisition and purchase order generation, goods receipt, and invoice processing through payment, including issue resolution ownership, and automation. This position is responsible for the implementation, support, and enhancement of the P2P processes and requires extensive knowledge of SAP and Ariba. In this role, the P2P Process Excellence Lead will closely collaborate with key functional teams within Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and IT to drive process excellence and improvement in key performance indicators.


Key Responsibilities:

· Support P2P processes to drive standardization, compliance, automation, and continuous improvement

· Drive and deliver continuous improvement, including change management, and interface with related functions, such as Manufacturing, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Logistics, and IT

· Contribute to the development, delivery, and maintenance of procurement technology-based business solutions

· Develop and maintain process descriptions (Business Process Mapping) in coordination with Procure to Pay Global Process Owner

· Enhancing and consulting on individual and team performance KPI’s

· Provide root cause investigation, recommend, and execute corrective actions; perform independently and problem solve key issues

· Provide hands-on participation on cross-functional project teams in the development of new enhancements. The job will include any necessary tasks, including documentation and verification of final solution

· Lead efforts to ensure compliance including SOX (segregation of duties, appropriate controls, etc.)

· Support governance of P2P policies and procedures


Key Activities

  • Continuous improvement for Procure to Pay activities
  • Develop and maintain process descriptions
  • Initiate and lead continuous improvement initiatives, change management
  • Key-User for Procure to Pay
  • Key user for (SAP, Ariba, etc.)
  • Review and support/continuous improvement KPI reporting
  • Training of key processes with focus on standardization and efficiencies
  • Share best practices across business lines/regions
  • Assure all working procedures are documented, maintained and staff is trained.
  • Support new process implementation

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area of focus preferably in product related supply chain, procurement, finance, or logistics procurement functions
  • Must have worked for global organization on large, complex projects.
  • Must have expertise with core business applications (SAP, Ariba, VIM, etc.)
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills required
  • Functional knowledge of Requisitioning, Procurement, and Invoicing processes
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) and other forms of technology related to his/her job
  • Keeps up to date on technological changes; adapts work approach to keep pace with innovations in technology
  • Demonstrated passion and experience about organizational transformation, continuous improvement, and change management
  • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and IT functions
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills required
