Job Description

Responsibilities for R2R and Consolidation position:

Responsible for the execution of reliable, timely and complete specialist accounting tasks and activities as recorded in the Global Process Design and Standard Operating Procedures)Statutory reporting (responsible for consolidation and also complete financial statements preparation for external audit process)Provide quality assurance on Balance Sheet (BS), Profit & Loss (P&L) and specifications for the legal entity involvedReview BS and P&L figures and variances on a monthly basisReview and potentially adjust specification (A-Forms)Perform and/or review statutory consolidated finance statementsPrepare and perform monthly analysis to present to participating LEResponsible that all the month end closing deadlines are metMake sure governance structure is applied; monitor adherence to internal controls incl authorizationsProvide accounting technical guidance and assistance across the defined region and business regarding IFRS and local GAAPMonitor IFRS and local GAAP differences and prepare explanations for required audits and approvalsSupport (local) business (controller) in explaining, communicating, and aligning with external and internal auditorsKey user is responsible for ensuring alignment with business ERP systems and IT processes (specific additional responsibility)Financial ReportingFixed Asset AccountingGeneral Ledger AccountingInter Company AccountingPeriod Close ActivitiesTax reporting (direct & indirect)Responsible for international cost-sharing process and execution
