Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Manager to join KYOCERA AVX and lead our HR operations. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive HR experience, with a strong background in both strategic planning and day-to-day HR functions. This role calls for a skilled leader who can implement effective policies, drive HR initiatives, and create a culture of engagement and high performance. The HR Manager will play an essential role in aligning HR strategies with the organization’s broader goals, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • You will be the lead of a small HR team of 2 people in total
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and staffing strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Ensure compliance to statutory laws and manage industrial relations 
  • Lead performance reviews, goal setting, and provide coaching to support career growth and development
  • Develop and oversee programs to enhance job satisfaction, engagement, and retention
  • Identify skill gaps, coordinate training, and support employee career growth initiatives
  • Manage payroll, benefits, and ensure competitive compensation structures
  • Maintain HR records, utilize HR metrics for reporting, and oversee HR systems for streamlined operations
  • Communication with the external payroll office 
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Experience:
    • 6-10 years in HR, including 3+ years in a management role
    • Multiple years of experience in a production company 
  • Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR policies, and compliance
    • Familiarity with HR metrics, data analysis, and HR software
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
    • Expertise in conflict resolution, employee relations, and talent acquisition
    • Strategic mindset with problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Attributes:
    • Ethical, discrete, and people-oriented
    • Strong organizational skills with multitasking capability
