We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and experienced Manager - HR to join our team and drive impactful HR initiatives across Avana.
This role is critical to supporting our continued growth and excellence by leading key HR functions including talent acquisition, retention, learning and development, employee engagement, and process enhancement.
The ideal candidate will possess a strategic HR vision, deep understanding of HR compliance, and a proactive approach to building a thriving workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with Avana’s growth goals.
- Source, attract, and engage top talent across diverse channels, ensuring the recruitment process aligns with organizational values and culture.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, assessments, and selection.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify workforce needs and create targeted recruitment and onboarding programs.
- Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and develop clear career growth pathways.
- Implement innovative employee engagement and satisfaction initiatives that align with Avana’s commitment to employee wellbeing and organizational culture.
- Oversee timely and accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee queries.
- Lead training needs assessments (TNA) to identify skill gaps and areas for employee growth across departments.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate learning programs that support Avana’s commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide a wide range of professional development opportunities.
- Establish, review, and improve HR policies, systems, and processes to support Avana’s operational efficiency and employee experience.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry-specific standards, especially in the medical devices sector.
- Design and implement HR metrics and reporting systems to assess and improve HR operational effectiveness.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational structure, and future talent needs.
- Drive HR initiatives that support Avana’s long-term growth, employee engagement, and retention objectives.
- Oversee change management processes to support organizational transitions and promote a resilient and adaptable workforce.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR) preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years in HR management with at least 3-5 years in a senior HR role, ideally within the medical devices or healthcare industry.
- Skills:
- Proven expertise in talent acquisition, retention strategies, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, regulatory compliance, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Proficiency in HR software (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and MS Office.
- Demonstrated ability to lead HR transformations, build HR processes, and influence at all organizational levels.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
