Job Purpose:The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision and working closely with engineering, sales marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager is also responsible for ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.The Product Manager for the Limelight Orchestrate Platform in India and South East Asia will be responsible for supporting the sales and marketing efforts of Limelight teams in that region. You will prepare and present product information to support revenue growth in the region with existing customers and prospects, attend customer meetings to understand the specific product requirements and challenges that they face and participate in marketing activity in the region to raise the profile and success of Limelight’s products there. You will work directly with the global Product Management team to understand the benefits and positioning of each product line and provide direct feedback and product feature and functional requirements, from the local markets.Essential Functions:Working closely with Global Product Managers to promote and position the Orchestrate Platform in the India & Se Asia marketsWorking in conjunction with Product Marketing to support the promotion and pipeline growth efforts in India & Se Asia marketsPerforming product demos to customers.Working closely with Software Engineering to translate the vision and requirements into reality that will ensure value to our customers.Contribute to the development of sales tools and collateral content.Manage and respond to field feature requests in a timely fashion and to capture request data for use as input into future product planning.Represent the product to the market, both with prospects and clients as they expand and grow their portfolio with Limelight.Running beta and pilot programs with early-stage products/services.Working with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.Qualifications:Experience and Education (minimums)3 years related Software Product Management experience, at least 1 year focused on a single small mobile video, broadcast or multi-media product.Experience of executing Product Marketing strategiesExperience clearly showing influencing and motivating others showing perseverance in handling challenging business situations.Technical background with expertise in CDN technology, OTT video distribution and delivery, online software distribution and website, application and API security and accelerationMust have a detailed understanding of internet fundamentals and protocols.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesDesired Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field Graduate studies in Business Emphasis (MBA) is a plusPragmatic Marketing certification or some formal product management training Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. Demonstrated leadership skills, to include influence and persuasion. Proven ability to work effectively with multiple levels of management. Ability to work across organizations/functions in a team environment.Proven ability to multi-task.
