Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, technical objectives, and user needs in order to design tailored virtual desktop solutions. Architect end-to-end virtual desktop infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, and security components, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and client-specific requirements. Provide expert consultation and guidance to clients and internal teams on the selection, configuration, and optimization of virtual desktop technologies, including Citrix, VMWare Horizon, and Azure WVD. Lead the implementation and configuration of virtual desktop environments, overseeing deployment activities, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring successful delivery within established timelines and budgetary constraints. Develop comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and operational procedures, to facilitate seamless knowledge transfer and ongoing support for deployed virtual desktop solutions. Stay abreast of emerging trends, advancements, and best practices in VDI technologies, evaluating new tools and methodologies to enhance our service offerings and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, system administrators, network engineers, and security specialists, to ensure integrated and cohesive delivery of virtual desktop services. Requirements:

Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred. Proven experience architecting, consulting, and implementing virtual desktop solutions, with specific expertise in Citrix, VMWare Horizon, and Cloud VDI services, particularly Azure WVD. In-depth knowledge of VDI concepts, including desktop virtualization, application virtualization, user profile management, and remote access protocols (e.g., RDP, HDX, PCoIP). Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations, as they relate to virtual desktop environments. Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for streamlining deployment tasks, optimizing system performance, and implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) practices. Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to lead collaborative discussions to drive consensus and alignment on project objectives. Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, with a commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
