Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for Railway Operation Shunting Staff located in Sambalpur. The Railway Operation Shunting Staff will be responsible for coordinating and executing shunting operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of railway wagons within the facility. Daily tasks include preparing and aligning wagons for loading and unloading, performing routine safety checks, and communicating effectively with other team members to manage logistics. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Operations skills for efficient shunting and logistical coordination
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities for teamwork and effective coordination
  • Analytical Skills to ensure precision and adherence to safety standards
  • Customer Service skills to address queries and ensure client satisfaction
  • Relevant experience in railway operations or a related field is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in railway operations are beneficial

Experience

  • Must have 5 years experiance in Railway Siding operation for shunting and logistical coordination.
  • Must have two wheeler Driving licence.
