Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the entire accounting department including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure timely preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts as per statutory requirements.
  • Monitor and control costs, conduct variance analysis, and support management in decision-making.
  • Handle taxation matters – GST, TDS, income tax compliance, and coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations.
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
  • Manage working capital and optimize cash flow.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
  • Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Guide and mentor accounting staff and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Prepare reports for management review and assist in financial planning and strategy.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting; CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership position in a manufacturing setup.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, taxation, financial reporting, and audits.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and team leadership abilities.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
