Role Purpose

Drive growth of the Anchor-led Vendor Finance program by acquiring, onboarding, and enabling vendors; deepen anchor relationships; and deliver target disbursements, portfolio quality, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

1) Anchor & Vendor Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with anchor clients (CXO/Finance/Supply Chain) to expand program penetration.
  • Act as the primary contact for anchor stakeholders and vendor decision-makers; run QBRs, reviews, and joint plans.
  • Ensure smooth vendor onboarding, documentation, and first-disbursal experience; resolve escalations with speed.

2) Sales & Business Development

  • Generate and convert vendor leads through anchor connects, events, and feet-on-street outreach.
  • Pitch and explain financing options (invoice discounting, PoS/OD, term products, dynamic discounting, etc.) tailored to vendor needs.
  • Create and execute joint gotomarket motions with the anchor sales team to maximize adoption and repeat usage.
  • Own the funnel: discovery eligibility KYC sanction disbursal repeat usage; drive conversion at each stage.

3) Market & Product Knowledge

  • Stay current on industry trends, NBFC/fintech offerings, underwriting norms, pricing, and competitor programs.
  • Provide field feedback to Product, Risk, and Operations to refine policies, pricing, and journeys.
  • Train anchor/vendor stakeholders on product features, digital journeys, and usage best practices.

4) Portfolio & Performance Management

  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports, funnel dashboards, and pipeline hygiene in CRM.
  • Achieve assigned targets for: vendor acquisition, active vendors, disbursal value/frequency, yield, and crosssell.
  • Monitor TATs across underwriting, documentation, and disbursal; drive SLA adherence with internal teams.
  • Track portfolio health (DPD, bounce rates, overdues) and coordinate with Collections/Operations for timely action.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven B2B sales experience in vendor/supplychain finance, working capital loans, invoices/receivables financing, or related fintech/NBFC programs.
  • Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders at anchors and MSME owners; strong negotiation and solutioning skills.
  • Understanding of credit basics (KYC, bank statements, GST, bureau, cashflows), documentation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency with CRM (e.g., Salesforce/Zoho), Excel, and presentations; datadriven decisionmaking.
