Role Summary:

As an Operations & Customer Support Executive, you will serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) at the branch for end-to-end policy processing and digital issuance journeys, while managing all pre-issuance and post-issuance customer queries.

Key Focus areas:

  • Maintain proactive communication with customers, providing timely updates on policy status.
  • Coordinate collection and submission of additional requirements from customers.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely policy issuance.
  • Liaise with Operations and Medical teams to schedule customer medicals.
  • Track application status, manage cancellations, and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Perform customer retention efforts on each case before processing cancellations.
  • Help and assist customers with post-issuance queries like personal details changes, document requests, update of any information, claim assistance and service-related queries.
  • Remind customers about renewals and help prevent policy lapses.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations and/or customer service; prior experience in the life insurance sector is preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; proficiency in regional languages is a plus.
  • Prior experience in backend operations and policy issuance workflows.
  • Understanding of IRDAI regulations and insurance compliance standards.
  • Strong process orientation with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent coordination, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM tools is desirable.
  • In-depth understanding of life insurance products and customer servicing workflows.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-first mindset with the ability to deliver empathetic and solution-focused support.
