Role Description

This is an internship role for a Business Development Manager, located on-site in Kozhikode. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building relationships with clients, creating and implementing strategies for company growth, and conducting market research. Interns will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the company's objectives are met.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven
Business Development Manager
responsible for driving revenue growth through effective lead conversion and deal closures. The ideal candidate will excel in identifying client needs, nurturing qualified leads, negotiating proposals, and closing profitable sales deals to achieve company targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and convert potential leads into successful business deals.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product/service demonstrations.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and proposals with prospective clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Collaborate with marketing and pre-sales teams to improve lead quality and conversion rate.
  • Track and report sales performance, conversion metrics, and pipeline progress.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (2–5 years) in
    business development, sales, or client acquisition
    roles.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Experience with CRM software (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Self-motivated with a result-oriented and target-driven mindset.
  • Excellent presentation and follow-up skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in digital marketing, IT services, SaaS, or software solutions (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
